NYSSA Partners with JIMAPCO
NYSSA has partnered with JIMAPCO, makers of road maps and all sorts of other mapping software, to provide snowmobilers with an interactive snowmobile trail guide. This online guide was derived from the trail information that the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation collects, which is in the public domain. The guide includes all corridor and secondary trails funded through the NYS Snowmobile Trail Fund that has been GPSed to date.To view the guide, go to http://jimapco.com/maproom/snowmobile/nys/Users can zoom in on a particular area, find out the trail number designation, and see which club maintains the trail.
